Trina Woldt Speaker and Coach On Leadership & Customer Experience (Former Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group)
Trina Woldt launched a new business in April as a Speaker and Coach on Leadership & Customer Experience. She was driven to do this as she evolved in the CMO role and championed looking at the business from the customer’s perspective. She quickly realized that the customer experience begins with the employee experience which is all about leading and nurturing the culture of the organization. The heart of the experience starts with the employee experience.
She is working to help people, companies and brands find their purpose.
Last year Trina starting working with the Start with Why team (a movement started by Simon Sinek) and continues to put this philosophy to work in her leadership and coaching practice.
During her tenure at Jewelers Mutual, Trina led the team in building their digital capabilities; transitioned two brands into one; led the historical social Band Together campaign donating $2M to St. Jude’s, Habitat for Humanity and Feeding America; and launched 3 new products and services and introduced journey mapping. This delivered historical growth for the business.
Prior to Jewelers Mutual, she held executive positions at ad agencies mcgarrybowen and FCB, Marketing Communications Director at American Girl and Marketing Director at the Paine Art and Gardens Center.
Throughout the years she has worked on iconic brands such as American Girl, Kraft, Bud Light, John Deere, SC Johnson, Gatorade, KFC and Jewelers Mutual.
Trina believes passionately that marketing, at its best, is based on human insights and making emotional connections using both art (creativity) and science (data). She believes it is critical to see the world through the eyes of the customer. We are all here to connect as life is about people.
Trina was a 2017 CMO Awards Finalist for Social Responsibility. Under her leadership the Jewelers Mutual Marketing team was awarded a 2016 ADDY, 2015 Best of Show for the Perfect Proposal Campaign from the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association. As General Manager at mcgarrybowen, the agency was recognized as the 2011 Adweek-Agency of the Year and 2011 Advertising Age-Agency of the year. Trina is also a 2010 President Obama Volunteer Award recipient for her work on UNICEF.
She is a board member for the Paine Art Center and Gardens and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Trina loves her family and gives back to the community both locally and globally.
