CAREER DEVELOPMENT COFFEE SERIES

AMA Madison, Milwaukee and AMA Northeast Wisconsin are thrilled to launch a coffee talk event series hosted by Big Shoes Network’s Martha Carrigan. This series will provide short webinars (15 minutes of content and 15-20 minutes of Q&A) with content about personal branding, job searches, recruiting, LinkedIn, and other career-development insights that are vital to marketers now.

We hope you will join us for fun, learning, and prizes!

SPEAKER

Martha Carrigan, Chairman & CEO, Big Shoes Network

Marth Carrigan is the Chairman & CEO of Big Shoes Network (BSN). She enjoys strategic marketing and business development. She connects creative talent with opportunities and coaches others on the 'next steps' of their professional and personal pursuits. (Her less fun roles: operations and paying bills - but loves to check off those boxes). An often-requested presenter at colleges and professional groups, Martha speaks about creative, employment and career-related topics. To her, there's nothing more motivating than hearing, "I found my job through Big Shoes!"

Prior to BSN, Martha served in a variety of marketing and business development roles in education, non-profit, and IT organizations. BSN's start-up was fed by her role at ManpowerGroup where she developed, delivered and sold training curriculum, and generated multimillion-dollar business partnerships in software and business services to local, national and international clients.

She earned a B.A. in communication from UW—Milwaukee, a Certificate in Interactive Marketing from De Paul University and is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW).

Martha has served on advisory and non-profit boards including: AIGA Wisconsin, Madison College, Marquette University Business Marketing, USO Wisconsin, WCTC and is an ambassador for UW-Milwaukee.

Her office: Lights on! Music on! Windows open! Hot coffee! Standing then sitting then talking then typing then walking then helping…
