Lead Generation: It Starts with Marketing + Sales Alignment

2020 turned the selling environment on its head. Things like tradeshows, networking events, and in person meetings and conversations came to a halt. And while sales teams adjusted the best they could, a smaller pipeline and longer sales cycle became the norm. As a result, sales has become more reliant on marketing to generate leads and help fill their pipeline.

But that raised more questions:

  • Is sales handling those leads correctly?
  • Are the leads coming in, the right leads?
  • Is revenue increasing?
  • Do you even know?

In this session we’ll cut through the uncertainty. We’ll discuss why marketing and sales alignment is the key to revenue growth, how to align around the same goals and the same personas, and how to make sure it works.

Lead generation is critical to revenue growth, but it is only successful when you’re generating the right kind of leads and handling them appropriately so they turn into sales.
